Proposal

I would like to write about the Lithuanians in Baltimore and a small community which still exists. It used to be larger community at one point, but people have moved out of the city. The only thing that is left now is Lithuanian Hall in West Baltimore. I would like to look into the history of the Lithuanian Hall's establishment, talk to people who are still running the place and take a look at "what happened to this community and why."
I am planning to go and do personal interviews with some members of the St. Alphonso's Church where Lithuanians gather for the Lithuanian mass every Sunday. I will talk to people who run the bar at Lithuanian Hall, Mrs. Angela, a lady who
makes Lithuanian dishes for the hall every weekend, ect.
I came to Baltimore seven years ago and lived here since.I used to go to the Lithuanian Hall and talk to people myself and then stopped. I question myself sometimes, Why? Was is because there was nothing really going on there, or was it because i focused more on my personal life than on the community. I feel that it is time to give something back and bring people back together.
